Trying to install ME and get the "Blue Screen Of Death" HELP!!
I'm new to all of this but here goes,I am running XP,and just did a windows update,half way thru the install,i got logged off my account,I dont know how,and now when i try to reboot,all i get is the blue screen of death.It tells me to reboot in safe mode but that won't work either,just the blue screen,it says at

I cannot run a virus check because after I get the blue screen all I can do is get to DOS and I don't think I can run Norton from DOS? NOte too that you should not install antivirus software on a computer that is already infected. Follow the instructions of the company that made the antivirus software.
